Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolate is delighted to add a collection of new trophies to the cabinet, after significant wins in both Western Australia and Tasmania at their respective 2023 Royal Food Awards.
At the Perth Royal Food Awards, 11 out of 12 entries received Gold medals, with five of those taking out Champion of their category. Bracegirdle’s Yuzu Cheesecake was named Champion Chocolate overall, following in the footsteps of their overall Champion win in 2022 with their Mango chocolate.
In Tasmania, it was the 12 piece Signature Selection box that caught the judge’s eye, being crowned Champion Chocolate & Confectionery from a pool of entries that included chocolate, nougat, marshmallow, honeycomb and fairy floss from across Australia. The unique combination of lemongrass, coriander and chilli in the High Thai chocolate took out Reserve Champion.
Bracegirdle’s chocolatiers pride themselves on the innovative and the delicate balance achieved between the chocolate and featured flavours of their creations. The local South Australian family-run business is Australia’s most awarded artisan chocolatier, employing more than 40 staff in three Adelaide retail and café locations.
The wins shine a spotlight on SA’s food industry, and the smaller manufacturers producing outstanding results.
