CHANGES TO DELIVERY

Effective Tuesday 26th Jan 2022 until further notice.

During these unprecedented times, Bracegirdle’s has decided to move to hand-delivery for local metropolitan South Australian and selected outer metropolitan orders for your peace of mind.

This means our delivery times will vary from our usual standard delivery times. Please allow 1-4 days for hand delivery.

Upon receiving your order, we’ll contact you to advise of the expected delivery date and to discuss the logistics of delivery to minimise contact and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Upon delivery, we will leave the order on your doorstep but we recommend that someone is available to bring the order inside, following the delivery, in order to avoid the products spoiling.

PURCHASING ONLINE

Purchase Bracegirdle’s chocolates from the comfort of your own home! Simply choose your favourites and add them to your shopping cart, then head to check-out to complete your purchase.

For ease of future orders, please register to create an account with us.

To review your order, click on the shopping cart tab. If you wish to add or remove any items, you can do so from this page. When you are satisfied with your order, click on the ‘check-out’ button and add your payment, address and delivery address details. If the item is a gift, you can have the chocolates shipped to an alternative address.

Once your payment details have been entered, you will be given one final chance to review your order. When you are 100% satisfied, click on the ‘Place Order’ button and our team will begin preparing your delicious treats.

Our secure online payment system utilises the PayPal payment gateway, which is trusted by over 6 million Australian’s and 188 million worldwide.

If the order is successful, a tax invoice will be emailed to you with details of your order.

Please note, orders are unable to be fulfilled on weekends. In the case of stock shortages, there may be a slight delay on your order. If this delay is expected to be more than 4 days, we will contact you to offer an alternative product (up to the same value) or offer a partial refund.

DELIVERY

Our staff will endeavour to process all orders as quickly as possible, however, please keep in mind there may be some fluctuations in demand, which may have an impact on processing times.

On hot days, we use special packaging methods to ensure your chocolates arrive in the best condition.

Please note: During extreme heat we will need to place a hold on your order and will contact you by email when it is appropriate to dispatch it.

DELIVERY METHOD

Bracegirdle’s usually relies on Australian Post Express Services for all deliveries. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to move to hand delivery for local South Australian metropolitan orders for your peace of mind.

If you have a regional, rural, interstate or international address, please contact us on 08 8371 4230 and place a phone order.

Please note: we cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes due to the risk of fluctuating temperatures damaging the chocolates.

Delivery times may vary during Christmas and Easter. We recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment.

If no one is at home when your chocolates are delivered, and no instructions have been provided, we will take the order back to the Cross Road store. To prevent your order spoiling, we encourage you to arrange postage to a location where someone will be home to receive it.

DELIVERY COST

Bracegirdle’s delivery charges are now a flat rate of $15 for metropolitan South Australian deliveries and $18 for selected outer metropolitan deliveries (all hand delivery). All other areas are a flat postage rate of $18.

Allergies

Most of our chocolates do not contain gluten unless specified. We also have vegan chocolates as marked. All our chocolates are made in our chocolate kitchen which also makes products that do contain milk nuts and wheat. Chocolates are not suitable for those that suffer from Coeliac Disease. Some chocolates may not be available at all times. 

Care of our chocolates

To enjoy Bracegirdle’s chocolates at their best please store them away from direct sunlight and strong flavours, in 20˚C or below and avoid placing them in the fridge. If the weather is too hot and there is no alternative, place the box of chocolates in an airtight container and wrap completely in plastic film and put in the fridge. Remove about two hours before eating and allow to come to room temperature.
