The competition is aimed at three levels:
• Secondary School Students (Year 8 – Year 12)
• TAFE Students
• Non-commercial Chocolates Makers
Entrants can enter once into either category:
1) Moulded shell – Individual Chocolate
2) Dipped or Enrobed – Individual Chocolate
The competition is proudly supported by F Mayer Imports who are providing prizes of Callebaut chocolate and accessories and Savour School, Melbourne who have donated a $500 voucher towards a chocolate making course. Prizes also include a half-day technical workshop with Bracegirdle’s chocolatiers. Every entrant will receive a 1kg bag of Callebaut chocolate.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the website or picked up from any of Bracegirdle’s five stores located at Blackwood, Cross Road, Glenelg, Marion or McLaren Vale. Completed entry forms should be returned to the Bracegirdles store at 289 Cross Road, Clarence Gardens between Monday 4 March 2019 and Friday 29 March 2019, where entry fees can be paid and display boxes collected.
Entries must be hand delivered to Bracegirdles at 289 Clarence Gardens on Saturday 13 April and judging will take place on Monday 15 April with winners announced on Wednesday 17 April 2019. All entries will be displayed at the Bracegirdle’s Pavilion at Nutella Palooza, Morphettville Racecourse on Saturday 20 April 2019.
